Challenge
Government agencies across the western United States needed a coordinated field operations system for fire prevention — one capable of managing hundreds of agents per tenant across remote terrain, with real-time location awareness and offline resilience for areas with poor connectivity.
Solution
Built a full-stack, multi-tenant field operations platform as part of a two-person team over 10 months:
- iOS mobile app (React Native) for field agents — route navigation, geofencing alerts, real-time position reporting, and offline map caching
- Web dashboard (React) for managers — agent dispatching, field position monitoring, and incident report review
- Multi-tenant API (Node.js/Express + MongoDB) with strict data isolation across government tenants
- Advanced geospatial features — real-time agent tracking, custom route optimization, geofencing for operational boundaries, and offline tile caching for remote field conditions
